Don't waste your time going to the Central Texas State Fair
(Sept 2-Sept 4th).
More of the same, animal abuse in the form of a rodeo. If you want to go to the fair, wait till later in the month and
go to the real State Fair of Texas.
Abuse is not their main attraction. 

Houston Rodeo and Stock Show breaks ties with PRCA. In a major defeat for the PRCA ( People Responsible For Cruelty to Animals) The largest Rodeo in Texas is no longer a PRCA sponsored event. More and more cities are learning about the real PRCA.

We also want to thank the many teachers from the different KISD schools that have invited us in to talk about cruelty to animals. These new classrooms have internet access and we can show our Say No to Rodeo website and video right to the students.

We have been contacted by some business and community leaders who have come up with some good ideas about replacing the rodeo with cutting competitions and equestrian events. It appears that not all in the Killeen area are happy with the rodeo. More to come on this news.
